Garage and shed: Secure and lock your garage or shed. Burglars often look for ladders or tools to force entry to your home.

Neighborhood: Good neighbors are a very effective means of preventing crime in your neighborhood. Forming a neighborhood watch scheme in your area is a most effective means of making people vigilant and making life harder for the criminal.

Callers: Callers to your home should not be admitted unless they are known to you, and are satisfied as to their identity. Use a door viewer and door chain. "If in doubt keep him out".
